Mission Statement
Opportunity Knox works with the families in Tiira Village, Uganda to relieve poverty and ensure the children of the poorest families can have access to primary and secondary education.
Mission Achievement
The Mission is accomplished by forming relationships with the poorest families in Tiira Village and assessing their needs for shelter, bedding, food, and education fees. Funds to meet these needs will be raised by accepting donations from interested individuals and groups. 100% of each donation received will go directly to meet the determined needs of a named family or individual. The Opportunity Knox Directors will donate sufficient funds to the Charity to cover all of the administrative expenses both in Ireland and abroad to run the Charity. This includes paying their own travel and subsistence expenses both in Uganda and in Ireland. The Charity has no paid employees.
